queue up是一个动词短语,排队
后面接for ... 表示目的,为...排队
We queued up for the bus.
我们排队等公共汽车。
也可以直接接for表目的
We had to queue for three hours to get in.
我们排队等了3个小时才进去
所以这里queue for 和 queue up for 是一个意思
当queue做名词时,可以直接接for表目的. 不用接up
This is the queue for the ticket.
